Pastor Mark Perryman
I was born in 1962 in
Littleton
Colorado
. I am the youngest of three boys. I grew up in Black Forest
Colorado
about fifteen miles northeast of
Colorado Springs
. My family was a solid middle class family who enjoyed the outdoors. Sadly, the things of God were not very important; as a result, church attendance was a rarity. Even though we were unfaithful in the ways of God, His grace and mercy prevailed.
Halfway through my junior year in high school we moved to
Nebraska
where I met my high school sweetheart and future wife Tammy.
As I look back I can see how the Lord was watching over me. It was not until my sophomore year in college that I committed my life to the Lord and it was at that time I sensed Him leading me to go in the ministry. After several years of wrestling with that notion I finally did what the Lord wanted.
I learned a valuable lesson on how to live a blessed life and that is to do what the Lord wants. As a result, the Lord has blessed me with a beautiful wife (Tammy) and with three great children (Felicia, Eric, Adam) and a great church family.
I have been blessed to serve Northridge church since October of 1991 and have seen so many exciting things that the Lord has done. I believe the greatest things are yet to happen. I trust you will find what you are looking for and may the Lord richly bless you. |
Pastor Tammy Perryman
I was born in 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska. I am the youngest of 7 children. Ever since I was a little girl I can remember going to church with my mom. We did not attend church very regularly but I know we always tried to go on Easter and Christmas Eve. When I was about 8 years old one of my older sisters invited me to go with her to Vacation Bible School. The pastor made Jesus sound so real and exciting that at the end of the week I went forward and invited Jesus Christ into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. I know it now, but didn’t realize it then, that God had His hand of guidance and protection on my life because I did absolutely nothing with that commitment until I was 18, when I had another opportunity to ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior once again.
At the age of 16, I met my high school sweetheart. We got married in 1984 when I was 19 and he was 21. I attended Kearney State University during our marriage and got a degree in Elementary Education. Before graduating from college, we were blessed with a beautiful daughter born in February 1986. Our daughter, Felicia, was born with major heart problems and she is a walking testimony to this day of God’s miraculous healing power.
In 1987 our family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota so my husband could attend Bible College. I got a job at a childcare center and became an Assistant Director. In 1990 my husband graduated from Bible College and in 1991 we were blessed with our son, Eric. Upon graduating from Bible College my husband got a job as a Youth Pastor at Minnetonka Assembly Of God Church. About one year later, my husband and I got offered jobs down in Owatonna. He was asked to be the Youth Pastor there and I was asked to start up a childcare center. Since this was my area of expertise I was very excited to take on this new task. Sunshine Tree Childcare Center opened in February, 1992 and it is an awesome ministry that is a part of Northridge Church. I have a love and compassion for children that I know is a gift from God.
The Lord has continued to be faithful in our lives and in 1995 our third and final child was born, his name is Adam. In 2005 I answered a call that was continually tugging at my heart and I became a Specialized Pastor. God is forever faithful and forever changing my life for the better. |
