In a world of  chaos, uncertainty, and falling moral values, it is no wonder that people are confused about right and wrong.  What is the finally authority?  Is absolute truth a myth or fact.  Can anyone truly attain righteousness?

These questions can only be resolved by a thorough study of the Word of God. As the Apostle Paul writes to the young Pastor Timothy, he encourages him to study to be approved of God as a workman that need not be put to shame. (2Timothy 2:15

Here at Northridge Church , the Word of God has preeminence.  If the Bible is not the absolute truth as the written well and testament of the Father, manifest in the Son, and made experiential by the Holy Spirit, than we have no solid ground for hope.  Hope springs from Faith, defined as a confident trust in God.  Romans 10:8-10  makes the case for the word being close to us.  By hearing and believing it we attain righteousness and hope for our lives.

The Bible has the frame work for a confident, fulfilling and holy life.  For this reason we encourage our parishioners to take part in weekly Bible study programs.  Within the confines of the Bible are guidelines for a good marriage and how to raise our children. The Word shows us how to make good decisions that help us to avoid hurtful situations and unnecessary pain and trial.  I am always amazed at the attitude that seems to persist in that the study of The Bible is boring.  How can the very ingredient that produces the substance of everything, namely faith, be uninspiring or dull. (Hebrews 11:1)

I have watched many people come and go over the years.  My experience is that those who were faithful to study, were approved of God and able to maintain their salvation in the midst of fiery trials and tests.

We invite you to be a participant in the faith building process by being involved in corporate Bible discovery.  The chance to have Spirit filled leaders in conjunction with give-and-take in a casual class setting is an opportunity not be missed.

See you in class!
